Melbourne
Spent a happy four days in this south Australian city
and walked the streets up to the Melbourne Museum and down to Federation
Square. Enjoyed the Anzac Exhibition and lots of Aussie art at the National
Gallery of Victoria. Joined the crowds watching a busker in the square and
dodged the trams. Couldn’t resist taking a photo of the 10ml roller ball
Bowtech Ease which I posted to Facebook.https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bowen-Supplies-by-Helen-Perkins
Visited our soda crystals supplier to discuss a joint
re-branding project (more on that later this year) and were given a tour of the
plant where the mined crystals are brought in and processed… see the lovely
photo below!
Enjoyed the views of the Yarra and beyond from our
hotel Sofitel on Collins, which looked truly stunning at night, dined at Saigon
Sally - fusion Asian menu and great
surroundings - and my friend (and
marketing consultant) who was with me met her pen friend for the first time.
They started writing aged eight, extraordinary in these days of social media,
and had a lovely day at St Kilda’s. All in all a memorable trip down under.
