Three years are up
Well, at last I have made it –
after three years of training, I am now a Bowtech qualified instructor. While
it has been challenging at times to juggle with existing personal and
professional commitments, it has been worth it. There are just 100 registered
Bowtech instructors worldwide.
I have had to travel all over
the UK
to attend other instructors’ classes to learn from them and refine my
presenting skills although I do have considerable experience as a tutor. I’ve
taught at City Lit
College in London
(Introduction to the Bowen Technique) and closer to home at Stamford College
(reflexology) in Lincolnshire
as I am already qualified to teach further adult education.
I’ve sourced great slides to
show the anatomy and physiology of Bowen moves and I have been known to speak
out loud while working with a few regular clients (who don’t mind) to refine my
procedural explanations.
I am now ready to launch
Bowtech classes in my home town of Peterborough
starting with an introductory day in September and Module 1 in October. Dates are
available on my website www.helenperkins.com For more information please visit www.bowentraining.co.uk
where you can also register interest or download an application form.
